Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya - “Pictures of the day” By ‘The Telegraph’ (U.K.)

10 February 2011

A teacher has broken the world record for number of pencils one person can fit in the mouth. Dinesh Shivnath Upadhyaya from Mumbai managed to cram 93 of them between his lips, beating the previous record of 70 set by Todd DeFazio of Pittsburgh.

The criteria for the record were that the pencils must stay in the mouth for at least five seconds, he could use rubber bands to hold pencils together and the pencils must stay in mouth without external support. See the YouTube video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6nRCrrl5AJ4
